All courses are fully self-directed.

We like to think of our parents as coordinators. You don't teach - you simply hold the space.

The Parent Guide at the end of each unit tells you precisely what your child has learnt and achieved. No art background needed.

Yes - from day one SOTA was built with homeschool requirements in mind. Every unit includes a downloadable Parent Guide that was created specifically to support homeschool documentation, assessment and reporting evidence.

Shelley is a university trained graphic design and multimedia specialist who has worked in the creative industry for over 25-years. She has taken complex university level concepts, and broken them down into child friendly, engaging lessons.

All courses give your child a complete education by way of progressive journey. From initial principles, through to a finished portfolio.

All you need to get started is:

- A computer, laptop or tablet with internet access.

- A folder or portfolio is useful for keeping completed work and certificates.

- A printer is helpful for printing designs, but this is not essential.

All of the AI tools used throughout the courses are free to access so there's no need to purchase expensive software or subscriptions.
