Hi, I'm Shelley - a homeschool mum, graphic designer and multimedia specialist with 25-years industry experience.
Online education is not new to me. I've worked for major blue-chip brands and I've spent almost 2 decades building and running online education programs professionally.
Above all of that, I'm a mum of two incredible teen boys. I'm actively homeschooling them right now, so I'm living this journey right alongside you.

A few years ago I started looking for a structured, high-quality Graphic Design program for my homeschooled teens. What I found was disappointing. Too simple, too scattered, or not built to the standard I knew is foundational for creative careers.
I know what genuinely great creative education looks like as I have spent 25-years inside it - so I built the program myself.
What started as a passion project has since evolved into something I'm incredibly proud of.

I understand if the future with AI makes you nervous.
If the idea of your child learning about AI makes you pause, you're in good company. I sat with that feeling too, before I landed somewhere I was comfortable with.
A lot of parents feel uncertain, wondering whether engaging with AI is the right descision, or whether it's safer to just wait and see.
What I realised - AI isn't coming. It's already here.
It's woven into every creative industry your child might one day work in. Design, film, music, advertising, photography, fashion, architecture.
Kids are already consuming AI every time they scroll. The question isn't whether they'll encounter it, it's whether they'll know how to use it with intention, or just be swept along by it.
AI can produce things quickly, but it has no taste. No perspective. Nothing real to say. That is a human advantage, and it's exactly what SOTA teaches.
AI is introduced slowly, carefully, and only once the creative thinking is solid. The goal is never to rely on it. It's to understand AI and direct it, ethically and responsibly.
